Topics in low dimensional statistical mechanics

Feb 8, 2015 – Feb 13, 2015
Les Diablerets Switzerland
#

In the tradition of the Diablerets workshops organised by the University of Geneva, this meeting aims to bring together researchers working on statistical mechanics to discuss the recent advances and the future directions of research in the field. We try to maintain a top level audience that combines confirmed researchers and graduate students, in an environement that encourages communication. This year, we expand our interests beyond the usual topic of planar statistical mechanics, with minicourses in random matrix theory and random walks on groups.
