Workshop "Mathematical Physics and Quantum Mechanics"

Oct 13, 2014 – Oct 17, 2014
ETH Hönggerberg, lecture room HIT E 41.1 Wolfgang-Pauli-Strasse 27 Zurich 8093 Switzerland
#

A workshop on "Mathematical Physics and Quantum Mechanics" organized by Martin Fraas and Gian Michele Graf will take place at ETH on 13-17 October 2014.

The goal is to provide a broad exchange on different topics which have seen some recent, remarkable advances. The format consists of longer talks, in order to fully reach mathematical physicists with somewhat diverse interests. Topics include: Many-body Anderson localization, Quantum diffusion, Aharonov-Casher modes and anyonic braiding, Quantum phase transitions, Stability and instability of anyonic matter, Continuous symmetry breaking beyond reflection positivity, Topological aspects of condensed matter. The workshop is supported in part by NCCR SwissMAP.
