Johannes Alt’s (UNIGE, A. Knowles Group), project RanMatRanGraCircEl, was amongst the six UNIGE projects selected for European funding under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). The IFs are individual scholarships at PostDoc level for experienced researchers who wish to develop their career prospects with research experience abroad.

The Swiss Mathematical Society congratulates Anton Alekseev (University of Geneva) on the Medal of the Erwin Schrödinger Institute for Mathematics and Physics! 
Anton Alekseev is honoured for his recent outstanding contributions to mathematics, in particular for the discovery of the link between the Grothendieck-Teichmüller group and the long-standing Kashiwara-Vergne problem in Lie theory, for the program of tropicalization of Poisson structures, and for the proof of the Goldman-Turaev formality in 2-dimensional topology. 
Our Deputy Director, Anton Alexeev is the Scientific Director of the Organizing Committee for this year's Colloque Wright. Save the date (2-6 Nov 2020) and find out more about this year's programme which includes Public Talks, activities for the younger public and the famous sound and light show!
