9th European Congress of Mathematics

3 Jan 2024

Nina Holden (Courant Institute) & Yilin Wang (IHES), alumnae and both recipients of the SwissMAP Innovator Prize, are invited speakers at the European Congress of Mathematics 2024 (Seville, 15-19 July).

Contributed Talks or Posters

Participants on the ECM2024 are encouraged to submit proposals for Contributed Talks or Posters. Submission deadline: April 2nd, 2024.

Opportunities for young mathematicians to participate

The EMS has recently established the EMS Young Academy (EMYA) to represent and support young mathematicians across Europe. As part of their work, EMYA have organised activities at the upcoming ECM specifically for PhD students and early-career researchers. Submissions are open for a lightning talk session where young mathematicians are invited to present their research in 5 minutes. This is open to mathematicians from 2nd year PhD up to 3 years post-PhD. More information can be found at the conference website.
