Our outreach officer, Shaula Fiorelli, will be taking part in the scientific round table on 1st of March at the Biliothèque de Genève, as part of "Léonard de Vinci à Genève?". Her topic of discussion will centre around La section d’or et la théorie des proportions à la Renaissance. RTS CQFD will be present and interviewing Shaula.
The event is one of many commemorations being organized this year around Europe in honour of the death of Leonardo da Vinci 500 years ago. It will also promote the loan of one of the Biliothèque de Genève’s most precious items, the De Divina Proportione to Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome for their Leonardo da Vinci exposition which will open to the public from 13th March to 30th June 2019.
