Cours Euler's end of year celebration

25 Jun 2019

Over a hundred school pupils, parents and teachers gathered at the EPFL earlier this month for the end of school year “fête” celebrating another highly successful year of the Cours Euler.

After a short introduction by co-ordinator Jerôme Scherer, Prof. Elisa Gorla (University of Neuchatel) delivered a well-received lecture on error correcting codes.

Following this was the formal part of the afternoon in which ten graduating students were presented with their certificates.

The afternoon ended with an aperitif on the terrace.

La Télé Vaud Fribourg recently interviewed Eric Ströher, a 17 year old student from Fribourg who speaks about his experience of Cours Euler during the past six years. Watch interview (FR).
