The Mysterious Universe: Dark Matter – Dark Energy – Cosmic Magnetic Fields

20 May 2019

Our members Ruth Durrer and Jürg Fröhlich are co-organising the programme "The Mysterious Universe: Dark Matter – Dark Energy – Cosmic Magnetic Fields" on the subject of cosmology.

The programme lasts from May 20 until June 7, 2019 and will be held at the Mainz Institute for Theoretical Physics, Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany.

With this programme, they hope to learn some lasting facts about modern cosmology and to trigger new collaborations and stimulate new research projects.

Organized by: Ruth Durrer (Univ. Geneva), Klaus Fredenhagen (Univ. Hamburg), Juerg Froehlich (ETH Zurich), Daniel Wyler (Univ. Zurich) [Equal Opportunities Officer], and Pedro Schwaller (JGU Mainz).

More information can be found on their website.
