NCCR SwissMAP Mentoring programme for women PhD and Postdoc members

10 Apr 2019

We are glad to announce that our Equal Opportunities committee has launched the NCCR SwissMAP Mentoring programme for women PhD and Postdoc members.

Many researchers are reluctant to seek help, believing that they should be able to resolve their problems alone.

The SwissMAP Mentoring programme offers women PhDs and Postdocs impartial confidential support and advice for those crucial moments.

We understand that PhDs and Postdocs can be presented with difficult decisions and mentoring can greatly influence a researcher’s experience and future career. This Program is there to support our PhD and Postdoc women members and to give them access to the knowledge, skills and expertise of our more senior SwissMAP participants who volunteered as mentors.

Our PhD and Postdoc women members have been contacted this week and were invited to read, through our internal website, the profile of our participant Professors and to contact a mentor of their choice.
