New member: Aleksandra Korzhenkova (EPFL, J. Aru's Group)

Welcome to our new PhD member: Aleksandra Korzhenkova (EPFL, J. Aru's Group)

Aleksandra is a first year PhD student at the Chair of Random Geometry at EPFL under the supervision of Prof. Juhan Aru. In summer 2021 she graduated from University of Bonn with a master´s degree in Mathematics. Currently, she is focusing on geometry of random surfaces decorated by statistical physics models, in particular an O(n) loop model, but the general topics of her research interests include Liouville Quantum Gravity, Schramm-Loewner evolutions, Gaussian free field and continuum Brownian objects.
