New member: Pietro Pelliconi (UNIGE, J. Sonner's Group)

14 Sep 2021

Welcome to our new PhD member Pietro Pelliconi (UNIGE, J. Sonner's Group)

Pietro obtained his BSc and MSc at the University of Pisa and Scuola Normale Superiore, where he studied some aspects of Supersymmetry breaking in String Theory.

Currently he is pursuing his PhD in theoretical physics at UNIGE, under the supervision of Prof. Julian Sonner. He is particularly interested in the gauge/gravity duality, and it’s applications to study thermalization and the evolution of entanglement.

Phase I & II research project(s)

  • String Theory

New member: Sébastien Ott (UniFR, I. Manolescu's Group)

Alberto Cattaneo (UZH) is part of a Simons collaboration
