Out-of-equilibrium Dynamics and Quantum Information of Many-body Systems with Long-range Interactions

31 Aug 2022

Our member Nicolò Defenu (ETH Zurich, GM Graf's Group) is one of the coordinators of the upcoming program Out-of-equilibrium Dynamics and Quantum Information of Many-body Systems with Long-range Interactions at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics from October 16–December 22, 2023.

Located on the campus of the University of California Santa Barbara, at KITP scientists do substantive research, often in collaboration with other participants. To foster interaction, KITP strongly encourages participants to stay for as long as possible. The Institute provides program participants with offices and residential-style lodging.

If you’re interested, please read the program description to find out more.

The application deadline is Nov 13, 2022.

There will also be a conference associated with the program, Exploring Non-equilibrium Long-range Quantum Matter held from November 13–16, 2023

Late applications will be considered as budget and space permits. Due to space and financial constraints, however, they may not be able to accommodate everyone who applies. Participation is only by written formal invitation from the KITP Director. If you think you might like to participate, it will help the coordinators with their planning if you apply early.
