Recent Equal Opportunities Outreach Events

We participated with different workshops to the recent equal opportunities outreach events Futurs en tous genres and Elargis tes horizons in Geneva last week.

 

Futurs en tous genres took place on the14th of November at UNIGE. Several workshops were available all day for 12-13 year olds. Our Science Officer, Elise Raphael was amongst the people conducting two of the workshops organised by the Equal Opportunities Office, which aimed to raise awareness amongst young participants on equal opportunities issues and to fight against gender stereotypes. Each workshop counted around 60 participants.  Mathscope also participated with a workshop in the afternoon. 

 

Elargis tes horizons took place on the16th of November. Around 450 young girls, between 11 and 15 years old participated. Mathscope offered a series of workshops "Magiciennes des nombres" to which participants could register.
