S-matrix Bootstrap workshop at EPFL

9 Jan 2017

The workshop will be held at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in January 9 - 13 2017.

Building upon the success of the conformal bootstrap in the recent years, we believe the time is ripe for exploring new numerical and analytical approaches to the S-matrix Bootstrap program. The goal of the workshop is to bring together specialists on different topics like the conformal bootstrap, 2D integrable S-matrices, lattice field theory, uses of dispersion relations in pion scattering and the analytic S-matrix theory.

We are planning a 5 days workshop with an informal schedule of blackboard talks and a lot of time for discussions.

Organizers: Balt van Rees, Joao Penedones, Jonathan Toledo, Pedro Vieira, Zohar Komargodski

Supported by the Simons Collaboration on the Nonperturbative Bootstrap.
