Welcome to SwissMAP: A. Figalli and C. Ulcigrai

Welcome to professors Alessio Figalli and Corinna Ulcigrai who have joined the SwissMAP team as of August 2018.

 

Alessio Figalli is a professor at the ETH Zurich and his research interests calculus of variations and partial differential equations. He recently won the Fields Medal at the ICM 2018 in Rio de Janeiro.

 

Corinna Ulcigrai is a professor the University of Zurich and her research interests include ergodic theory, dynamical systems and Teichmueller dynamics. Especially ergodic, mixing and spectral properties of parabolic dynamical systems.
