Congratulations to Prof. Wendelin Werner for receiving the Heinz Gumin Award for Mathematics of the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation, for his ground-breaking contributions to the mathematical understanding of universal properties of Brownian motion and applications on central assumptions of statistical physics.
