Explore the Geometric Art of Kolam

We invite you to discover Kolam, a traditional geometric art from Tamil Nadu, India, where women create daily patterns of loops and dots at the entrance of their homes using rice flour.

 

Explore its connections with mathematics, anthropology, religion, and art. -

Exhibition Dates: March 13 to 19, 2025 (Closed on weekends)

Location:Uni Dufour, UNIGE

Audience: Open to all

Admission: Free

Exhibition Opening: Thursday, March 13, 2025, in the evening.

First Official Day: Friday, March 14, 2025, in celebration of Pi-Day, the International Day of Mathematics.
