Workshop - Arithmetic aspects of moduli spaces

Feb 1, 2016 – Feb 5, 2016
CIB-EPFL Room BI A0 448, Lausanne, Switzerland
#

This Workshop is part of the semester in Enumerative geometry of moduli spaces of sheaves in low dimension, and will be held at the Centre Interfacultaire Bernoulli (CIB), EPFL, in Room BI A0 448.

Description:
Moduli spaces appear in many areas of mathematics like differential/algebraic geometry, mathematical physics, number theory and representation theory. The study of the arithmetic of moduli spaces leads to deep connection between these various areas as shown for instance by Ngo for the proof of the fundamental lemma via the arithmetic of the Hitchin map. In this workshop the focus will be the arithmetic aspects of various moduli spaces.

Organisers:
- HAUSEL Tamas (EPFL).
- LETELLIER Emmanuel (Université de Caen).
- RODRIGUEZ VILLEGAS Fernando (International Centre for Theoretical Physics ICTP).
