DIVE into the infinite world of FRACTALS

20 Apr 2021

Participate in building the first ever Level 3 Menger Sponge in Switzerland!

This Interactive exhibition will take place from 16th May – 30th July at UNIGE's Uni Carl Vogt, 66 bd Carl-Vogt.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday

7:30-19:00

and during the International Museum Day on Sunday, 16th May (14:00-18:00)

What is a fractal?

Does it serve a purpose?

Can you make your own?

Is it art or math?

Is Maths only about calculations?

To find the answers to all these questions, come and discover our interactive exhibition. Each person builds a cube with the help of six visiting cards and incorporates it into the largest fractal in Switzerland.

Interactive exhibition on fractals is opened to the general public and classes.

Participants who have already built a cube can bring it to the hall and visit the exhibition (and build additional cubes).

Participants who have not yet built a cube can do so on site in addition to visiting the exhibition.

By 30th July

Together we will have built the largest 3D fractal in Switzerland!
