The groups led by Niklas Beisert and our member Matthias Gaberdiel at ETH Zurich invite applications for postdoc positions in theoretical or mathematical physics, starting in the autumn of 2020.
Positions are usually for two years, with the possibility of an extension to three years, depending on performance.
The research interests of the group include quantum field theory, quantum gravity, string theory, conformal field theory, integrability and scattering amplitudes. The group also maintains close connections to the group of our member Giovanni Felder in Mathematics.

Long-Term Researcher Positions
They are also looking for experienced researchers to join on a long-term assignment. These positions are intended for candidates who want to consolidate their independent research profile. Apart from research, duties also involve engagement in teaching specialised courses in theoretical physics at the master level, as well as the supervision of students. Positions are intended for 3+2 years.
