7 Sep 2015

Congratulations to Alba Grassi and Vincent Tassion for receiving the SwissMAP Innovator Prize 2015!

SwissMAP Innovator Prize is awarded once a year to PhD students or postdocs for important scientific achievements in the research areas of NCCR SwissMAP.

Alba Grassi is a PhD student in physics at UNIGE in the research group of Marcos Marino. She is awarded for her work on topological string theory and large N gauge theories.

Vincent Tassion is a postdoc in mathematics at UNIGE in the research group of Hugo Duminil-Copin. He is awarded for his outstanding contributions to the understanding of planar critical percolation models and in particular for his generalization of the Russo-Seymour-Welsh theory.
