Christine Lescop is a CNRS senior researcher in mathematics. Her main research interests lie in 3-dimensional topology and knot theory. Her current work is on knot and 3-manifold invariants, which count graph configurations in 3-manifolds, following Witten's study of the pertubative expansion of Chern-Simons theory, and a topological approach due to Kontsevich.
